The society classifies some most weird people as psychos.
But I have been wondering for considerable amount of time these days about the real meaning of the word "psycho".
In the past, during the renaissance period, when witch-hunt was very famous in Europe, men and women so classified as witches were burnt alive.
They were also classified as "psychos".
People who used predict the future using tarot cards and by reading left over tea powder in tea cups were also called as psychos.
As we trace the History, we can understand that there is no clear meaning for the word psycho.
The holly wood movie series "psycho" totally reveals another personality trait which is psychologically frustrated and extreme in its activities.
These days any one who goes to a psychiatrist is called as "psycho".
I have recently read a Numerology book which describes people with certain personality number (number calculated based on the alphabets in their name) as psychic!!!!! Phew!!!!
These days friends playfully call names among each other as "psych"....
I wonder the word "psycho" still has long way to go in the future.
