FIRST KISS

The baby was brought to her grandma's house. It was a rainy day. The baby was just two days old. It laid still in the hands of her grandma, since it is a new born one, it is unable to distinguish day and night and slept most of the time.
The baby is given cow's milk and was brought up by her grandma and grandpa. When she was one year old, she said "mumma" for the first time. But her mum was not with her to listen to those first sweet words from her baby.
Immediately on hearing this, the baby's grandma called her daughter, who was still busy with her lawyer, fighting to get the divorce from her husband, who doubted her conduct and said that he was not the father of that baby.(though DNA results assured that he is the biological father).
There were reasons behind him, not accepting the baby as his biological daughter because, he expected more dowry from his father and mother in-laws.
The innocent girl who was born was given to her grandparents by her mother, to take care of her, till she gets justice from the court of law.
The girl was named by her grandparents as MONISHA. When monisha was 3 years old, she was sent to kindergarten like all other kids of her age.
Before entering into the kindergarten, monisha's world was fully occupied by her grandparents, who did not tell the girl, anything about her parents.
But after entering into the kindergarten and making few friends with other kids, monisha came to know that , other kids have what they call as "mum" and "dad", who came regularly to the kindergarten either to feed lunch or to take their child home.
One day monisha, could not control her excitement and asked her grandma, who was feeding her lunch "patti amma na enna? appa na enna?"
The old lady was excited when those words came out of the little girls curled mouth. She said "apparama solrean da chellam!!!! ippo nee indha oru vaya vangikuviyam, patti unakku ootuvaenam, seriya?"
"um seri"
The old lady immediately called her daughter that day and told her, that monisha asked the meaning of mum and dad that day, during the lunch break.
The poor and helpless mother, who saw her for the last time, before 2 years, cried silently when she was said about her daughter.
Years rolled.
Monisha was five years old, and it was her birthday, when she met a lady after school, who took monisha to her grandparents house.
On the way to home, Monisha asked "neengha yaaru?" the lady was overwhelmed by tears and two fat tear drops fell from her chin to the ground, on hearing her daughter's voice after 5 years.
She cried and hugged her daughter, she was unable to control herself. Words came out from her mouth interrupted by her sobbing "monisha naan dhan da unnoda amma".
Monisha was surprised and also excited at the same time. She asked "neengha dhan ennoda ammava? appo appa yaaru? ennoda friends elarukkum amma, appa nu  rendu paer irukkangha, ennakku amma mattum dhaana?"
Her mum was listening to her sweet voice, that she did not hear what she was asking. Her mum took monisha to her grandparents house. After bathing monisha, her mum gave her all the new dresses and chocolates that she had brought for her. She took her to a toys shop and bought all the things that she asked for. Monisha's mother stayed with her till that night.
Monisha grew highly fond of her mum, that she hugged her while sleeping. Monisha was very tired after shopping with her mother, that she slept the next moment when she was put in bed.
The  next day dawned, Monisha's mother woke her up. She bathed her, and took her to her school.
Outside the school, Monisha asked her mother to bend, and she kissed her mother on her cheek!!!!!!!!!!!!
and said "amma inikku neengha lunch eduthutu vareenghala?" Her mum was hugely surprised and she said " seri da moni". Her mother started weeping and monisha left for the class.
During lunch break, her grand ma came with the lunch, and when monisha asked about her mum, she replied, "silarukku panam mukkiyama theriyudhu, silarukku pasam mukkiyama theriyudhu, nee azhadhada chellam, amma unnoda adutha birthday ku nichayam varuvangha".

INTERNET ADDICTION

Internet addiction is becoming very common among teens today. Not only teens, in some rare cases even adults are getting addicted. Especially social networking sites like facebook are making things worse. It doesnot mean that i am not using internet at all. I agree with those who argue about the advantages of internet, which contains huge amount of data about all possible things from 10^-12 to 10^12. We can find so much of raw data ranging from minute atoms to large galaxies in the web. There are people who showcase their talents in the internet by creating a website for their own photography, blogs and paintings. By this method, they reach out to people far and wide.
Internet is regarded as a powerful media, in which any news can be spreaded even faster than a forest fire.
There are people who misuse the internet by posting porn videos and this encourages many pedophiles.
As every technology has got both positive side and negative side, internet also has positive and negative impacts on the society.
Crime rates increase in some countries, because of orkut. People should be aware of the dangers posed by sharing personal information in social networking sites with strangers.
PLEASE SEE THIS VIDEO WHICH HIGHLIGHTS BOTH THE POSITIVE AND NEGATIVE EFFECTS OF USING FACEBOOK.
I think this video explains the negative side of using the facebook to share data with strangers, with a little bit of humour. I now think that the title for this post should have been "FACEBOOK ADDICTION" instead of "internet addiction".
Some people are extremely addicted that they live with facebook in their lives, posting every incident that happens in their daily life. Some of my friends in facebook are highly addicted to it that i see them posting something everyday. They are addicted to facebook.
I hope this post will help someone, or change someone's mind, as not to post personal things in facebook.
The world is large and different types of people live in it, what may look good for one person may not suit another.
Likewise, people may post something that may really look funny to them, but it may hurt someone's feelings.
So, in short facebook and internet are powerful medias which can be used for good purposes or for bad purposes.
P.S- Whatever i have posted above is my personal view of the world of internet. Views and opinions may differ from people to people. Your valuable comments are most welcome. Thank u for ur patience.
